The Marlin sidewinder is the beginner metal head guitar of the 80′s. This one came with a single locking tremolo that was snapped in two. I replaced it with a considerably far more stable classic trem, but it had to be the six screw version not the two point because the holes wouldn’t line up regrettably. The blue scratch plate was at the request of a possible consumer which took a lot of work to fit. A lot of older guitars aren’t regular fit to steer clear of copyright issues. So if your going to attempt one thing like this your self stick with some thing like a Squier or a Westfield.
